When I studied about Chinese herbs, there was a time I wanted to learn more about borneol. Borneol is used in Chinese medicine to "Open the Orifices" (click on this link to learn more about Borneol according to Chinese herbology). Herbs in this category are aromatic and can open up the sensory orifices and awaken the spirit. This means if your head is stuffy, if your head feels blocked, this category of herbs will open things right up so you can breathe and think clearly again. With my google search I found the Poy Sian inhaler, and I decided to buy it and try it out.

Poy-Sian is a VERY potent inhaler. When I get stuffy sinuses, I stick this thing up my nose and take a big whiff. I can feel the cooling sensation go down to my throat. I loved this so much I always keep one in my purse and in my office. I use this before I put a mask on if I'm working with someone who is more medically sensitive so I can breathe easily through the K95 mask.
Another benefit of this product is that you can un-twist the inhaler part from the tube and there is the reserve with the oil that contains the good stuff! It has a small hole in it that allows you to use the oil topically. This stuff is magic with bug bites! It stops the itching and causes them to heal faster. It also works well with acne and will make it disappear faster than other products I have tried.
Here is a quick 2-minute video I made that demonstrates how to use Poy-Sian and why it's so awesome:
Menthol, camphor, eucalyptus, and borneol.
